These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute an agreement between you and Reserve A Game LLC ("PlayLocal," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of the website at www.playlocal.com, the PlayLocal mobile applications for iOS and Android, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Services. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 16 years old and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are between 16 and 18 years of age, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

To use most features of the Services, you must create an account. You may register using your email address and a password, or by signing in with Google or Apple. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately at support@playlocal.com if you believe your account has been compromised
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time by using the Delete Account option in the app settings or by emailing support@playlocal.com. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 10 business days in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Anonymized booking records may be retained for facility reporting purposes.

PlayLocal enables you to reserve public and partner tennis and pickleball courts. A confirmed reservation serves as a permit to play on the specified court at the specified time, subject to the rules of the facility and the local municipality or institution that operates it.

Reservations are for exactly one hour. Each user is subject to a daily booking limit, which may vary by facility.

Pricing

Most courts on PlayLocal are free. Some facilities charge a fee, which may vary based on residency status, time of day, or other factors set by the facility operator. All fees are clearly displayed before you confirm a booking. Any fees collected are passed to the facility operator minus applicable transaction fees.

PlayLocal does not currently charge a service fee. We reserve the right to introduce service fees in the future, with advance notice to users.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel a reservation at any time before your reserved start time.

Free reservations: No refund is applicable. Please cancel as early as possible so other players can book the court.

Paid reservations: A full refund will be issued if you cancel at least 24 hours before the reserved start time at the facility’s local time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the reserved time are not eligible for a refund. Refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.

Facility cancellations: Facilities reserve the right to cancel reservations at any time (typically due to maintenance, weather closures, tournaments, or other conflicts). A full refund will be issued for any paid reservation cancelled by the facility.

Cancellations can be made from the My Games screen in the app or on the website.

All payments are processed by Stripe. By making a payment through the Services, you also agree to Stripe’s terms of service. We do not store your credit card number — payment information is handled directly by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor.

Payment methods accepted include credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

You are responsible for any applicable taxes associated with your use of the Services.

You agree to use the Services in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
• Harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate other users
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk communications through the Services
• Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, spiders) to access the Services or collect data without our express written permission
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Services, servers, or networks
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent booking limits, rate limits, or other usage restrictions
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Create multiple accounts for the purpose of evading bans or restrictions

We reserve the right to remove content, suspend messaging privileges, or terminate accounts for violations of these guidelines at our sole discretion.

PlayLocal includes social features such as friend connections, player matching, messaging, and reservation invites. By using these features, you acknowledge that:

• Other users may be able to view your profile information (name, skill level, general location) based on your privacy settings
• Messages sent through in-app messaging are private between participants but may be reviewed by PlayLocal if a user reports abuse
• Reservation invites share your name and booking details with the invited player
• You may block or report other users at any time

The Services, including all text, graphics, logos, trademarks, software, and content, are the property of Reserve A Game LLC or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." RESERVE A GAME LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE AVAILABILITY OF ANY SPECIFIC COURT OR FACILITY.

IN NO EVENT SHALL RESERVE A GAME LLC OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THIS LIMITATION SHALL APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

If you have a concern or dispute relating to the Services, please contact us first at support@playlocal.com. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve your concern within 30 days.

If we are unable to resolve the dispute informally, any legal action shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. You agree that any suit or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Boston, Massachusetts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
